Budd Rims Wanted?

Running a bit low on funds at this point with my M37, But when I pulled the wheel off the passenger side to install my box bed side I saw the rim center was badly rotten. I will pull all the wheels and check further and may do a weld repair on that rear one since it's only one spoke. My question is what should a decent rim sell for? Are they found at swap meets?
Thanks Much

Hi Wayne,
I've only been to 2 swap meets, but did see them there at both. I wasn't looking to buy them so I didn't notice the price. I've been looking around the internet for some nice used 9.00x16 NDTS so I usually end up finding rims as well. From what I've seen the going ASKING PRICE for a good rim is in the $50 dollar range, but I'm sure others have sold them for less. Sometimes you can find someone who just wants to get rid of some old military tires and rims just to get rid of them. I've seen a few of them on Craig's List but didn't pay much attention to them because again, I wanted good tires...not rims.
I just pulled out my handy-dandy VintagePowerWagons catalog and they list good take-off rims at $95 each. I know you can find them for less than that. I know that doesn't help much.....but they are out there!
regards,
bob

Perfect NOS rims go for $125-$150 if you can find them, really good used take offs (rare) for $100, serviceable takeoffs that need sandblasting and paint $50-$75, bent rims (outer shell) but with good hols $5-$20 or price of scrap steel. See
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4870 for ones I have for sale. I am just south of Charlotte, NC so shipping can be the deal breaker.

Give John Bizal at Midwest a call-he sent me a decent one at a fair price a few years back.

Thanks Gents,
That will be my next task after I finish the box. Hopefully I found the only bad one, Ha Ha my luck doesn't run like that.

I have 4 decent take-offs that I would let go for the $25/each I paid for them. Would have to be picked up in CT

You could try Pete DeBella ( DeBellajeepparts.com) out in Riverhead. He had some M37 and Wc inventory on hand.
