OD on the Seatboards

When I made my seatboards I had used leftovers. There were three different types of wood, ash, oak, poplar. Although I liked the natural wood look, I got tired of the mis-matched wood colors&grains. Layed the OD on this past weekend

David,

Nice job on the seatboards. Can you post up a picture of the front of radios?

Thanks,

Bert

That's one radio. The top is the radio and the bottom is the power supply. AN/GRR-5. Nice AM/Short Wave receiver.

That's how troop seats are suppose to look David! Good Job! Now just hit the carrage bolt heads and the nuts with some paint and you're all set!

Bert,
Thanks. I will post a pic of the radio ASAP.

Joe, I will probably touch those bolts up this weekend.

Have a good Fourth :)

David,

Did you have the data plates stamped or engraved?

I like the look of the numbers and how they turned out. I had them do the laser etch vs. the "phaser" etch as the phaser would have disintegrated the plates

Funny you mention the honey-do list, I am thinking of completing the rolling chasis here in the next month then putting the trailer project on hold :( until next spring so I can address some home repairs  I don't know, we'll see :?:
