So what's up for the 4th of July?

I'll just pull mine out into my driveway and fly the flag-still needing better brakes (and the new home has exhausted any work/play time for my M37-I wanted to get the body front-half stripped, repaired and painted this year....). It's also so doggone hot and we now have 10 fires here in Utah (but no danger where I am).

I will have the M parked in the front yard next to the flagpole. Going to just hang out at the house and maybe work on the trailer a bit. Hoping for some rain today to dampen things up. Very dry here as it is everywhere. The neighbors and I usually have some decent fireworks, if it stays dry though I may have to save mine until next year. Do not need any brushfires. They are calling for t-storms this morning. I am keeping my fingers crossed  A great 4th of July to all :)

My truck is nowhere near ready for a parade or static display. :(

I will be on fire watch the next few nights at the AO, it's been so dry in our area that my fear is a random firework could cause a major problem.

July 4 is our most significant National Holiday. Let's honor our flag by displaying it properly.

On a vehicle, one flag, right front.

See link for correct ways to display the flag.

Hey Bert, fire is right--I got called home yesterday due to the new "Quail" fire in Utah that is 5 miles away, across a canyon from our home. I can sit in my chair and look at it burning up the other side of the canyon away from us, and we were on standby for evacuation yesterday evening (that has since been cancelled) and rain is in the forecast for tomorrow. Sure hope we get a good storm-been 36 days w/o rain, and fires everywhere....
