This came out of my M37. It was mounted in the cargo box, just infront of the left wheel well. I think it might me something radio related, but don't know. Number stamped on it is FT-107. The plate is aluminum and the pins are stainless. Looks like something clipped over the pins. Any info would be appreciated.

Those are the same pins that would hold something that was canvas onto a vehicle. Military aircraft use those pins to hold First Aid kits in place. I wonder if it was some sort of document pouch for the M-42 command truck??

It was mounted on the floor, so not sure about a document pouch?

It's a mounting plate for the Radio Set SCR-193-K or SCR-193-KB, take a look at http://www.armyradio.com/arsc/customer/ ... 193-KB.htm

It is listed in the parts list and in figures 6 and 12...

I guess that means it was a radio truck once in it's life.

And I thought I was about done buying parts for the truck. Oh well it's only money.

Anybody know what the price on one of those radio sets runs?

The Dynamotor mounts to that plate. The Dynamotor flange has four sliding latches that slip around the grooves at the base of the pins.

Fair Radio should have pricing info for you. That's a very old late WWII Armor setup so you may want to reconsider a more appropriate to the 50's thru 70's radio setup. The VRQ-1 thru -3, the VRC-8 thru -10 are very appropriate to the M37's duty time periods.
