Hi Gary,
Thanks for thinking of us.
I am on the West side of the state, and fared much better than the South and East portions. We still got 5 1/2" rain at my place and some wind but not too bad. Lost power for about 4 hours last night. Many wont get their power back for several days. I suspect Ed saw a lot worse weather than I did, as he is to the East of me.
Thanks again,
Tim

I saw on the national news tonight that Vermont really got clobbered from all the rain causing severe flooding. Hope you guys up there are OK. !! In Fact I hope all you guys on the East Coast are doin' OK . We have our brother and sister in law with out power in Providence RI. House OK but they don't know when power is going to be back.

Thanks for asking Gary, OK here in Maryland, lots of rain and wind about 50mph in gusts with no trees down on my property but not so for the neighbors and surrounding towns. Power was out for 26 hrs and my 60 year old PE95 generator worked like a champ, cooked on the elec. stove, watched TV and had lots of juice for the well pump and lights. My M37s stayed safe on the garage. Loaned out my other genset to a friend who is still in the dark at his business as of today.

Weathered the storm ok in RI but they say no power till at least Monday. Can't imagine what we'd do if it was a bad hurricane........

Thanks Gary all is well in Lyndonville. Alot of roads washed out pretty bad a few towns cut off except by air and national guard high water trucks but i faired well. I actually loaded the dually and headed to Simsbury CT to pump out my inlaws house. All was well just two detours off I91 but made it in 5.5 hours instead of 3.5 got them pumped out and cooled off there fride/freezers and then went to bed and then hauled butt home for work all in all a good days work !!

Thanks for thinking of the Green Mountain Boys !!

We lost power for eight days, finally came back last night after filling and starting the generator around 8:30 pm. We only had 2 trees fall on my driveway, which is about a half mile long and tree lined!
Very similar to camping in your own house.

Didn't see this before, but I did fine, no major damage and power stayed on. I was one of the few lucky ones, 8 days later and there are still about 30,000 without power in CT. They say Wed for complete restore but with rainy days forecast for Tues and Wed I have my doubts. Like said previously, I'd hate to think what would happen in a major storm.....

Glad to hear all you upper east coast folks are all well with no severe damage to homes. Some of the video from Vermont and surounding areas looked pretty bad.

I heard the load snap and watched as a large maple fell towards my shed with a 54 m37 and the smaller shed with a mule and a M151. No loud crash? In the storm I ran over to the sheds to see what happened. The maple has a Y that has one side on the left side of the pine tree and another on the right side. It got wedged above the sheds, The smaller shed is tube frame with a tarp over it, it has some rips from the limbs, but nothing too serious. Now for the fun part, get this down without dropping in on the sheds.

Hopefully, you are able to get the MVs out of there before the tree removal is attempted.
