After many years of serving his country Bill finally retired to take a more lucrative job with a defense contractor. For weeks Bill was showing up late every day but was always doing a superior job and never late on any deadlines. Finally Bill's boss confronted him one morning when he showed up late as usual. "Bill, you are doing a great job here but I'm concerned that you show up late every day." "Did you ever have this problem in the military?" Bill shrugging his shoulders and replied, "Well yes I was late all the time." Confused his boss asked ,"What did everybody say when you showed up late ?" Bill answered, "They usually said Good Morning General!"
