M37CDN Carb

Post by rdwhite »

Was the B&B ETW1 carburetor used on the 251 engines in Canadian M37's? If so, were the same metering jets and rods the same as used on the 231 engines?

According to the EME manual, the carb should be an E9-D1 but I have the ETW1 on my M37CDN.

Thanks for responding. Is your ETW1 stock, or did you have to jet it up for the larger engine?

My carb is stock. I dont know enough about them to consider things like jetting them up.
Its a good point though, maybe someone with more tecnical knowledge could help here.

I've switched the ETW1 from my 230 on the M56 to the 251 on the M152 and found no difference in performance.
