I don't remember where it was, but I saw that video clip a little over a year ago. I think it really ought to work out well. The logic is there, at least. If it proves successful, we may see it in production vehicles in the near future. I know...some folks said it would never work, but they're the same people who said the Wankel engine would never work. I'd like to see how it will do once all the bugs are worked out. To give your car more power, all yoy'd have to do would be to add a module! :)

Yeah, Ive seen that before, it is a very neat concept. Only issue I see is how to oil the second piston way out there, but, Im sure you could do it. They also are working on an electronic turbo that uses a small high speed brushless motor to spool the turbo very fast, and then, it uses that same motor as a generator to electronically brake the turbo when ti reaches full boost. The energy generated by the motor when in brake mode is dumped into the vehicle's electronic system like an alternator.
