That's a M37B1 switch. The early switch did not have those rubber sockets on the back.

I'm glad you posted that info Cuz, as I thought I had the wrong ignition switch! I have the one you listed, not the later four connector version. Whew! 8)

I have my fuel pump wired on its own fused circuit and dash mounted toggle switch. I still need to run the circuit through an oil pressure switch for safety. When driving my truck, you first turn on the battery negative disconnect, then the ignition switch, then the fuel pump and then you press the starter.

That will work but a word of caution, make sure that it's written somewhere so some good old buddy doesn't try to start the truck and run the battery down cause he wasn't aware of the extra switching.

The extra switch is in lieu of a keyed ignition :D
I have gone down the road a 1/4 mile only to have the engine sputter and die multiple times after forgetting to turn on the pump.

My fuel pump is wired to the ignition switch and fused. I also have a spring loaded toggle switch that controls a 24 volt relay that bypasses the oil pressure safety switch so I can energize the fuel pump to prime the carb. Before I try to start the engine if needed. I don't have a Mechanical pump.
