Finally.

I bought a 'restored' truck last December; some of the old hands here cautioned me about what restored might mean. They were right.
7 months in the shop, total rebuild on the drivetrain, new wiring, paint, canvas, radiator (Thanks, Charles!), tires... Total cost was only three times the purchase price, but here she is - and she makes a dandy daily driver if you aren't in a hurry.

As for the pin-up, well, I couldn't resist. Thumbnails are clickable.

I sure know what you mean about a "Restored" vehicle. Transmission, seals, fuel pump, radiator, oil pump installed wrong/timing, door latches, on and on. One man's restoration is another man's never ending project.

YA mine was "restored" the term was used very loosely . After 5 years I've replaced just about everything. Now it's a good reliable driver. I'm glad I love the truck and the time I spent on it has brought me many hours of fun, because it is a bad investment as far as money goes. It's like what I heard about boats. A hole in the water that you dump money in. :D

AWSOME TRUCK!!! LOVE THE PIN-UP :D . I THINK THE WATER CANVAS IS STRAPPED ON THE PIONEER RACK OVER THE TOOLS AS OPPOSED TO THE JERRY CAN. BUT MAYBE I AM WRONG. I WISH YOU HAVE TON OF FUN WITH YOUR M FRIEND :D

Mark,
Phillip here from Tennessee.

WONDERFUL JOB!!!! The pinup is keeping with the spirit of the Army Air Corps in WW 2 and looks just like one from that time. A perfect addition! Great originality!
