We had the Coolings Foundation in this past weekend to the museum
http://www.mapsairmuseum.org. Here is a shot from my post (tour guide at the Corsair) looking out. I did drive the M down and it got alot of attention as well. Unfortunatey I did not get the photo op RixM37 did. We had a good crowd. A bit of the wrong kind of excitment Saturday as the P-51 was up with a passenger. A 30' trip turned into 2 hours of fuel burn off as the 51 did not get a "locked gear" indicator light on the left wheel on approach. Alot of sweat and prayers...All ended well and a broken linkage was to blame...whew

That passenger got their monies worth, not in a fun fashion.
I can't believe August is half over. This weekend I am taking the truck to the Ohio Vietnam Memorial Wall
http://www.ovmp.org for thier Veteran's celebration. Thay are having a car show but I expect alot of green iron there as well

Great link! Thanks for sharing it. I love all things old and mechanical, with Army trucks, airplanes, boats, and motorcycles leading off the list. I was surprised to see how many DC3/C47s were there. I know that there are still some in active commercial service around the world, but to see that many in one place is a rarity these days. Thanks, again, for sharing the clip with us.

David looks like you had a great time at the show. I really liked the Collins foundation people when they were here in AZ. The video was great. Someday I want to go to Oshkosh.
