Looks good! Question...Why didn't you pull the dent in the door and do the body work on the back of the bed and whole truck before you painted it? :? Or is it an older paint job thats in good shape, but received dents after it was painted? Now you need to get some troop seats,so you can take another 8+ people with you wherever you go,and a tail gate to keep them all in. :D Your going to have lots of fun with it!

If he made it look too pretty before having it appraised, maybe it would be rated as "more valuable" and his taxes on it would go up? ;)

Seriously, though, you have a nice truck there!

Just as you suspect, I bought it with a good older paint job. The dents were there. Besides, I kinda like the little spots on it...it's a military truck, not a show car....I like to think that it's battle damage.

I have a tail gate, just need to paint it and get a pioneer kit and tools.

That's what I love about the MV hobby. The paint and the body work do not need to be perfect.
When I took a car to a show you always had some a--hole come over and say " did you know you had a flaw right there" that would really pi-- me off.
Such a minor flaw gives it personallity.

I think it looks awesome! Mine has little dings and a few dents here and there as well and I am leaving them there. I think they add character and they are far from show cars. Id rather see a few dings/dents then a M37 full of bondo. Keep up the great work and post up some more pics once the tailgate/tools are on it!
