been spending most of the $$ on the truck itself, but, have also been trying to slowly upgrade my "workshop" which is more like a busted, tired garage...

To that end, I've splurged, and used my small bonus from last year to get a new tool box, air compressor, and:

Whats that gray surface under your truck? Is it a floor , holy cow I have not seen mine in so long . Nice organization with lots of elbow room , just a little chilly in the winter time. I worked out of my old garage for almost 18 years without insulation with just a salamander heater running it did the job.

Looks good Josh but now it's too bright in there and your going to need sun glasses to work.

All that extra light is gonna make his "oopsies" stick out like sore thumbs, too! That will mean many more enjoyable hours spent fixing them. There's something to be said for poor lighting...unseen damage is not really damage as long as the truck runs okay.

Looks very good - I haven't seen that much work bench real estate ever! Mine is usually covered in unfinished projects with just enough room by the vise to start more projects.

Nice box too - I've always felt that a real tool box needs a step stool to see whats in the top of it!...

I didn't have any heat either for the longest time. In fact, I used one of those big 3 wick candles for heat for a winter. Worked out well, as I was wiring the truck at the same time - so my heater also doubled as a shink tube installer! I used a lot of heat shink on that harness, must've had cold fingers or something...

I always felt it was great to stand up to work on something rather than kneeling on the floor or using a block of wood for a bench.

It took me years to finally get a good bench!! and like Master Yota mine is covered with stuff I'm working on.
