I know that some are using the RJ8C champion plugs in their M's, but what wires are you running? Ive searched, but not found a different distributor cap to run a civilian wire. Can you use a standard wire with the stock cap? Im just trying to see what options i have vs buying the expensive stock plugs/wires.

I've seen them with the wires just installed into the towers on the mil distributor, seemed to work just fine.

you mean the wires will just push into the stock distributor cap? i wasnt sure if it would be a good enough connection or not. that would be great if that will work though.

Some do resort to that, but I doubt if you would be happy with it, moisture issues, etc. Why not go back with new original type plugs and wires. Of course they are more expensive, but are WAY better in many ways.

I WILL REVERSE THE ORIGINAL QUESTION. IS THERE A WAY TO USE MILITARY DISTRIBUTOR, WIRES AND PLUGS ON A CARBURATED 318/360 V8 ??? THIS WOULD BE INTERESTING IF POSSIBLE TO HAPPEN
