John @ Midwest Military Phone: (952) 440-8778 has rebuild kits for the stock military fuel pump.
The military pump has a primer handle and vacuum lines to it and the civilian one has a glass fuel bowl with no lever or vacuum lines on it.
I hope this helps.

AC GP21181 for the GI fuel/vac pump. You can also find kits at Then & Now.

Then & Now has fresh production rebuild kits, just be certain that you do not use a NOS kit. The diaphrams are not compatible with today's gasoline. Some use the AC pump, some were Carter pumps, distinguish which you have before seeking a rebuild kit, the diaphram diameter is different.

Thanks for the info on the pumps Charles!
I knew there was issues with ethanol in some rubber. But never thought about our rubber rich fuel pumps.
Guess I'll be selling the two NOS kits that came with my truck on E-gay.

When you call Then & Now to order kits they insist on you telling them the # on the flange of the pump so you can be reassured which ever pump you have they will send you the right kit.
Some NOS kits produce after the 70's have good rubber in them as long as it has stayed sealed in original package.

Then & Now did 2 pumps for me... brand new and you almost hated to install them..too nice. The primer handle is typically missing but has no impact on performance. You can get the winter primer kit as well if you are concerned.
