Just wanted to say Thanks to Robi for getting the forum back online and to Bruce for helping alert Robi to the problem the forum had......
It feels good to be "home" back on the forum again :-)

Best Regards to All - MM :-)

I'll third that! Thanks for keeping the forum going. Might be a good time to donate in appreciation for all the work involved to keep things running so smoothly.

Thanks again, DJ

Same here! I didn't know how to reach anyone except MM except via PM, and I couldn't send a PM with the forum down. That was a long two days!

new problem

Post by poor rich »

Like everyone else thank you, it was like being lost in a wilderness.

there has been a change since the great crash of 09. I don't know if its on my end or not. When the sight came back (thank you), I had to reenter my user name and password, no problem. But I no longer get the highlighted symbols showing updates and new topics.
Was there a change to the system, or is it on my end? This use to happen alot with my old Dell but Im now on a Mac and this hadn't been a problem till now.

If the topic symbols aren't highlighted, it means you're not logged in. Took me a while to figure that out (Duh!).

I hope my computer doesn't crash! My password is stored internally so that I'm automatically logged in when I access the site. I've got it written down somewhere, but it's in the stuff I have in storage pending finding a new home. If my 'puter goes down, I'm screwed! :(
