Another question--Rear end

I had quite a shock this afternoon when I moved to the first rear wheel to do the brakes. I jacked up the wheel and went to spin it to check on brake drag and moving the wheel in a forward direction it went click-click click. It would not turn backwards. I then thought to jack up the other side and take off the E-Brake and make sure it was in neutral. To my surprise upon spinning one tire the other side turned in the same direction? I have built a few 4 pin 9" Ford traction locks but they use clutches so in most cases you must hold the other tire to feel the "posi" effect. At first I thought I might have a broken axle but I was driving it when the brakes went south. Is it possible this rear has a locker installed? As I remember when folks were running a Detroit locker they might hear the ratcheting noise going around turns.

It sure sounds to me like it has a locker in it. :(

Most likely has a Lock-Right Locker installed.

It sounds like a lock right to me. I have never put one in a m37 but I have installed and used them on jeeps before.
