I'm confused, Pertronix upgrade

Money wise I'm far away from ordering the upgrade from Charles. Yet having more time than money I do lots of research. Looking at the Pertronix MV-161 I see the maker lists it for a CCW distributor? I also understand that some units work for either direction, yet on the MV-161 they only list CCW. I'm also aware of some after market distributor items creating a phasing issue between rotor and terminal lugs. Any input will help put my mind at rest

You'll be happy after you switch to electronic. I got a unit from Charles, put it in myself & couldn't be happier! If course, I took the opportunity to rebuild the distributor, so I think the new bushings (etc.) helped, too. I can tell you I do NOT miss points & adjustment. Feel free to ask installation or performance questions - I'll give you my independent opinions (for whatever THEY are worth :roll:).
