Hi Guys,
Anyone have a picture of the bottom of the passenger seat base?
I have a set of springs, but I gather the correct base has a plywood base, this is just springs, with some brackets toward the rear. I will try to get a picture of it. It would sure help to have a visual on what I am looking for!
Thanks,
Tim
Just happpens I have one...

Will dig it out and take some shots of it.
I did take some large butcher paper, spray painted the board-bottom, sent that to buddy who used that as template for accurate replacement.

I have the original seat bottom that I kept to use for a template when I cut the plywood I used for the new one. I can make a template for you if need be. Send me a PM with your address if you'd like me to make a paper template .

Thanks Nick,
I may take you up on the pattern, I will wait to see a picture of the seat bottom first. I am hoping that the seat frame I have is correct, just missing the plywood. It sure seems to be the right size.
Thanks again,
Tim

Tim;
No problem. If you find that you need a template made up, just give me a shout.

Thanks for the pictures Bruce. Unfortunately they confirm that I do not have a correct seat bottom. Bummer!
Oh well, the thrill of the hunt!
Thanks again, Tim

The pic doesn't actually confirm that your seat bottom is "incorrect." My 1954 M37 has the original seats/upholstery in it and my seat bottom looks nothing like the one pictured above. I don't have a pic of it handy, or I'd post it for you to look at.

Ahh, so that's what goes there! I wondered what that bracket was for.....Hey where can I get one of those first aid kits?

I don't even have the bracket....just the two holes. Something else to hunt for....

John,
There isnt a bracket for the first aid kit. There are 4 rubber bumpers and a canvas strap.

Hmm, I'll have to revisit that. I could swear my truck has a bracket that holds something there.
