How are the filters in these plumbed?
I think I remember someone saying the filter only operates at highway speeds?? I'm thinking about using a bypass filter (a very fine filtration unit) in place of the OE filter...
Any thoughts??

Oh, and I'm thinking about a frantz filter set to flow a couple quarts a minute all the time.
The frantz uses rolls of paper towels, that are cheap and easy to obtain.
