Cargo Cover and Top Knots

Got my cargo cover from John Bizal, and was looking up the procedure for securing the ropes, found the taut-line hitch in the Boy Scout manual, and the Military recomended version for the s hooks. Thought I'd share

That's good information. I think the M37 doesn't have the open hooks like that though. Having just taken my be apart I know mine doesn't. So I think the Boy Scout version is the best way to go.

Thanks for the post Carl. I have those type on the cab of my truck and now I can tie the roof canvas correctly. I always wondered why the hooks were shaped that way

I was at a car show today and learned the Taut Line hitch for the bed. (And I used to be a Scout Leader!) The cab knot for the canvas top worked well.
