Hello back trail travellors, And today's tune up question is : What is the correct idle speed for my M37?

idle speed works nicely at around 600-650 RPM.

And it's a good idea to go ahead and hook up a vacuum gauge, if available, and adjust your idle mixture screw for max vac if your adjusting your idle speed.

Thank You all, and I did connect my vacuum gauge and a steady 17" water colunm is the best I can adjust too., but I find I don't know how to hook up my rpm meter (tachometer)as I have a military distributor. I also have a 5 piece test kit I bought that has the adaptor with which to measure my timming, is there an adaptor in there for the tach & dwell meter reading?
