Replacing left front axle shafts

While mounting my reproduction M13 lockouts, I realized my left front axle shaft(s) were broken.
So I ordered the inner and outer shafts (figured the tracta joint would probably be OK). Box arrived today. Packing list showed both shafts as did delivery email.
But the outer shaft was NOT in the box. I'm wondering what the resolution will be.
