Vacuum Wiper Motor Alternative

Has anyone used a vacuum wiper motor from a M35 successfully on a M37?
I'm still on the fence about 24v or vacuum. It's not a daily driver so it won't be driver in the rain, by choice. The looks of the electric motors turns me off but I know they are superior.

I modified NOS M151 vacuum wipers. I run modern blades and arms and Rain-X. Works well enough for the little rain I drive in.

How did you modify them?
Some motors look similar to the S-583-1 mounting and shaft except the manual level is on top. I think that would hit the roof if used.

I reversed the lever and made spacers for the mounting bracket. Added a vacuum switch in the feed line. I machined output spine from modern wiper to match the shaft.
Now I run SUV rear window wiper and arm.
Then, I obtained a set of correct NOS wipers and a half dozen used ones. They are still in a box in my garage.

After seriously searching for a good set of vacuum motors I came to the conclusion that 24v electric is best in my situation. Found a set on eBay that is in a kit (everything but wires). Put an offer out to the seller, they will be delivered Friday.
I wanted vacuum as they look cool but will almost never be used. The price! Oh my. For a restoration to original, those would be perfect. Just not here.

Truck came with vacuum. I swapped them out to electric. After a year, the disdain for the electrics grew to the point I have gone back to vacuum. I gave the electrics away.

Yet, you didn't think of me??!!
My truck did not have anything when I got it. I would prefer vacuum just for the looks.
BTW: The ebay electric were junk so I sent them back. Still looking...

I just went out to my shed and looked in "The wiper box". There are two NOS units, 2 used and working units that are spare. (3 almost working. I have the parts to repair)
The only thing missing from the spare working units are the nut and spline to mount the wiper arm.
I just ran them on my A/C vacuum pump to make sure they still operate.

So, what are you saying? Thinking of selling?

I've been on the fence what to do for quite a while. The Chineseium DC motors are out. Too FUGLY.
Since the truck isn't "planned" to be run in the rain and I like the look of the originals... I picked up two NOS wiper motors with arms/blades. Going to run them off a 24vdc vacuum pump.
