Hopefully sometime next spring or summer
New left front axles arrive Saturday. I didn't order a tracta joint yet.
Will wait on that until I disassemble and check out the condition and clearance of the old one (from memory, 7 thousandths max, but I need to confirm that). And won't do the disassembly till I get the new rear tires mounted and off the jacks. I think I may use this as an opportunity to pull the front pumpkin and check out the condition of the bearings and ring & pinon.
I'm tired of looking at the beat up front bumper, so will install the winch bumperettes for the LU-4 this weekend.
I did pick up a new 4 psi radiator cap today

You might pull one of those bumperettes before setting in the winch. Driver's side. I just did that with mine-too difficult with both in place. You'll also want to slide the PTO shaft in place before mounting the winch as well.
