I have a no-original pump installed and it's not working properly.
To be honest, I was not expecting magic to happen as the idea was to use it for cranking the engine, idle a bit and check if everything was tighten enough. It's a Weber, but cannot tell the model....(like I care).
So now I was about to purchase a 6-valve M-series and realised my mind completely forgot (.....this is serious ) I have a T-214 engine on my 37.
What's the problem then.....? Seems to be, I am not 100% sure, that the flanges of the 6-valve pump will not fit properly in the engine socket, and a modification (or adapter) should be made/acquired for this in order to prevent leaks.
Anyone?
I'm not a fan of adaptations due to later maintenance so I'm trying to avoid this. But I want to be sure.
I don't know how many here own a T-214 as this is a WC engine, but if anyone has a idea, or want to give a comment about using a late fuel pump in this motor it will be welcomed.
I do believe the early 6-valve pump can make it as it was designed as "late" for the G502.
Probably I am going for this one as it's a bit cheaper than the single-acting one.

A friend of mine runs an M37 pump on his WC for the vacuum pump.

Good to know, Andy. Thanks.
Differences between the T-214 and T-245 are minimum. Exchanging parts between them should not be a headache.
