Clutch parts

Post by slk »

I may be in need of pressure plate and clutch plate for my 62 M37. Can you get those at NAPA shops or do you have to go to a military specialty shop. Also is it a tough job to do if you are mechanically inclined?

Hi Steve,
Easy job if you're mechanically inclined. Less expensive to get one from Midwest Military as opposed to NAPA or other stores. Change the release bearing too-Timken 2065. You will need a clutch aligning tool. The tranny input shaft is best, ask John at Midwest about it if you order from him.

Resident of the Communist state of Massachusetts, home of failed
health care and failed gun control! See what the Democrats can do
when they control both houses.
