Searching for my old M37

Post by Rob61 »

Hello all,

Back around 1996-1997, I was abruptly forced to sell the M37 that I had recently restored. I was working at the Mack Truck dealer in Chesapeake, Virginia (the truck was located there). The gentleman who purchased it, if I remember correctly, was going to keep it on his farm in Kentucky (????). It was a 1952 or 1953. I restored it myself, so this M37 in particular means more to me than words can describe.

I had added a fording kit.
It did not have a fender-mounted heater, or door-mounted spare tire.
Oiive drab with military marking.
No winch.

If anyone could help me connect once more with the buyer/gentleman, I would be deeply appreciative.

Warmest regards

Hi Rob,
Do you remember the VIN? It might be registered here-you never know.

Cal, you're right. But I'm embarrassed to say I don't recall the VIN. I actually used dealer tags on it after restoration so I don't have an old vehicle registration with the VIN.
