Drive Shafts Question
Has anyone had new drive shafts built for their truck , I need to find someone that will build me a complete drive shaft that will mate with the stock third member and transfer case .

tom woods wont do it?
I have helped make drive shafts before its not hard to do if you have the right tools
but there is a specific procedure

I need to have mine rebuilt. Has a really good dent/bend in it. Looks like it's been that way a while too.
there is a place near me, Point Spring and Driveshaft (used to be Island Spring and driveshaft) that will build what ever you need. I've had several custom drive shafts made for Jeeps by them. Not cheap, but good quality and service.
I'm sure you can find someone near you that does it.

I need to use a double cardon joint on my drive shaft , my trucks got a six inch lift and about 15 degree angle at the transfercase flange , took driveshaft to local shop in Harrisburg Pa , they said they couldnt do it , which I dont understand , said they couldn't match the bolt pattern on the flange , I guess my next step will be Tom Woods .
