Looks like a feline domesticus nontrusticas to me, probably about to work a Fake accident scam then run off, the dog might be the one hiding in the bushes to jack the truck while you're not lookinghairpin151 wrote:Sounds kinda funny but the picture looks like you just ran over a dog!

Re: M37 fording kit reproduction
Do the intake pipes have a cap on them? Like ones on large trucks?
Id need the pipe and flex hose and rain cap if anyone had one already. I have the bracket on my truck already.

Re: M37 fording kit reproduction
According to the parts list provided with the kit from the Military, there was no rain cap for the intake or exhaust, just straight open pipes. I put a cap on my intake and have seen both the flapper type caps for the exhaust, takes a 1 3/4" size and one fellow I saw put an exhaust tip with the turn down curve and angled cut off on the exhaust pipe. He turned the tip out to direct the exhaust away for the bed. I am thinking of doing that, it looks kind of cool. You can do what you want as far as the caps.

Thanks for the info, CT.
Does anyone know what the diameter (ID and/or OD) of the intake pipe is?

Re: M37 fording kit reproduction
Good day all! I have a 1952 CDN M37 and I have been looking for a fording kit, well just the intake tube and hardware as well as the exhaust side. Got everything else under the hood. Anyone know of something available? Repro or not, good used, a bit damaged is good too.

Bits and pieces show up from time to time in our classifieds or on the E Pay site. Just have to keep checking until you stumble across the parts.Cooperboy wrote:Good day all! Re: M37 fording kit reproduction
Cooperboy, I have an unused reproduction exhaust pipe for sale. $150 plus shipping. I bought it several years ago and am not going to use it. I also make/sell reproduction mounting brackets for the fording exhaust pipe.

Re: M37 fording kit reproduction
Do you have, or can you make, the two piece fording exhaust pipe extension stowage bracket?
I'd be interested in one of those.
