I'm installing an LU-4 on my XM-708.
What size tap do I need to chase the threads on my winch bumper nutplates?

if you have the bolts you can measure diameter and thread pitch. Sorry, i don't have any idea of the size needed.

Re: Tap for front bumper nutplates
If memory serves, I think they are 5/8NF. I'd double check with a tape measure though...

All the threaded holes in the bumper and frame extensions are 1/2 -20 NF
The holes in the winch itself are 5/8 -11 NC thread into the housing.
Four 5/8-11 studs with 5/8-18 on the other end, which go through the brackets on the sides.
Four 5/8-11 bolts on the front brackets.
