My 15 minutes of fame !

Post by Tom @ Snake River »

Or shall I say 4 minutes of fame.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YBa7ip8vr8
Gov Liq finally put the video togeather and it came out quite well. My speech is a cross of a southern/western accent. The piece I am standing by is a Japanese Type 97 tankette chassis.
Video taken on our farm here in Eastern Idaho.

Tom.....you're a natural! Hollywood watch out.....here comes Tom!
Great video. Loved the Jap tank in the background.....and the accent!

When you do your sequel.....you gotta stick a shot of an M37 in there. :mrgreen:

Seriously, congrats on the video!!

Tom;
You are the perfect spokesman for GL with your use of so many of their trucks in the operation of the Howell Farm. Good job sir, well spoken and knowledgeable. Thanks for posting.

I would go Hollywood, except some character - C. Thomas Howell - already has my name.
We did try to bring in the other odd items into the shots. Notice the ammo trailer in the shed that came from GL., the mule which was a private deal.
I took the 14 ft bed off the five ton and put it on a bob tail Chev. which works great.
I did study the other videos that GL had put togeather, and wanted to get more " nuts and bolts " about reutilizing the trucks.
Notice, other than having to streach the frames, we leave the trucks origional. It makes me mad to go to an auction with a surplus truck and it is painted titty-pink.

Tom,

The only Mr Howell that I know in Hollywood was last seen on an island with Gilligan and MaryAnn. :lol:

We need to see more pictures of your collection.
