Wanted: Cargo box parts
Hello all, I just got myself a '51 M37 and spent last weekend taking it apart to see what's no good or missing. The cargo box is off and apart now, so here goes:
I am looking for a rear cargo box crossmember,
A set of tailgate brackets (mine are booger-welded on),
Toolbox pan and doors,
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Oh, thanks. I got it. I'll be PM-ing you back shortly.
My biggest problem right now is that my only pickup truck is the very one in 300 pieces; the m37. It definitely would make a ton of sense for me to just replace the bed and then sell this one or part it out. But until I have a truck, I am relegated to items the fedex man can lift. I'm looking for someone parting out a bed, really. Or someone who has accumulated spare parts and can sell me some.

sounds good. If you find a means of coming up let me know..
Re: Wanted: Cargo box parts
Often times members of the local MV club can help you fetch things (assuming you're a member!!). You may have to pay for gas and some extras, but it is an alternative.
I just recovered my M37 last week that way, threw some money to a guy in the club and viola, a diesel pickup with trailer appeared!

Might have a good set of doors out in the barn....
Re: Wanted: Cargo box parts
A fully assembled M37 bed will fit in a Mini-Winnie from U-Haul as well....
Gary
P.S. This did NOT have the fenders attached.

Well, I'm replacing these:
So yeah, I'd say they are better than the ones I have.
Mine are welded on and I won't even be cutting them off when I remove the spot welds are replace the vertical box tube on the back of the cargo box.
Please PM me and let me know how much you are asking for them.
