A rim is on my list as my "new" M came with 5 new tires and 4 rims. When folks say combat rim I am assuming (always dangerous) that they are talking about a rim with locking ring, and not the WW2 style true split rim that was actually a two piece rim that was bolted together.??? If it is a lock ring type I am interested. What do you want for it, and what kind of shape is it in...Thanx John

The combat rim is, as you suspected, a WWII item meant for the WC series. They were not available as original equipment on the M37. They fit the M37 very well, but a "purist" restorer would spot the "error" in a New York second (which is 1/60th of a "new York minute").
