Yep, It is getting more frequent. Makes no difference how we fill in the address block or change the HTTP?? to www. I did notice it does not seem to effect moving around the other 741.org web pages. Just the Phorums.

Yep the 404 is indeed increasing in frequency. Yes the "www." does fix the sites displays and new post icons, so in addition to the Server issue, there is an HTML error in the forum.
Thanks,

I have been having this problem for about a month, and not just g741 but with other websites as well. I would get error codes, or told the site does not exist etc etc

Seemed to start around the same time I foolishly downloaded Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 as my internet browser.

Just downloaded Google Chrome for my internet browser and dumped the Microsoft Explorer and all of my problems (internet at least) have gone away...imagine that. I also hear good things about Mozilla Firefox as well.

I'm running FireFox and not IE, so I doubt it's related to IE.
Thanks,
Will

Ahh your going to spoil my microsoft bashing. That was the most fun I had all day.
I guess from my end it could also be Fairpoint. - my little black box seems to blink a whole lot or red these days.
But my internet does seem to be better without the Internet Explorer.

Robi has re-activated the forum, all is well for now and I think he's going to have a poke about in the works to see if there was an underlying cause to it all, Awesome work Robi!!

It is indeed great to see it back up, but I'm still seeing an issue with the "View First Unread Post" link taking you to the post with out the "www." in the address, maybe it's a Firefox issue with his WEB software.
Thanks,
Will
