Help Identifying Mystery MV Part Needed

Post by w30bob »

Hi Guys,

If you guys can't figure this out I'll post over on SS........but I find you guys the most helpful. I got this in a box of M38A1 heater parts at a meet back in the Spring and it needs to go to someone who can use it. It's not sheet metal.......it's heavy plate. No part number on it that I can find, but there's one number on one of the brackets bolted to it. That number is 6389354-1 and you can see it in the bottom of the last pic. I couldn't find anything relating to that number on the web. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks,
bob

w30bob,
That's a weird one!

Does the radius of the bend look like it could match a tire? Sure looks heavy duty, kind of armor like!

How's the M37's doing?

Hi Andy,

Yes, it does. I was initially thinking M715.......but it's too heavy for that truck. I hate to toss it out.....I know someone somewhere can use it. I'll post it over on SS when I get some time. Thanks for taking a look.

regards,
bob
