M101A1 Trailer Axle

Post by JonnieLewis »

Hi, new member here!

While I do not have a M37, I do have a '68 M101A1 trailer I recently bought. I pulled one of the hubs and the surface of the outer spindle had water intrusion. I'm wondering if there is a source of A1 axles or does anyone know pda source of the right spindle that could be welded in?

You might try Vintage Power Wagon or Midwest Military.

I wouldn't be afraid to use that spindle, such a small area shouldn't affect the strength of the spindle. The bearing does fit snug on it doesn't it?
