"VPW" Vintage Power Wagon, Fairfield Iowa

Post by Tim Powell »

After the "Fishing For Freedom" event we went to Fairfield Iowa.
VPW holds a rally every year and this was their 30th anniversary.
I can't tell you how many rigs were registered but our number "159".
That's a lot of vehicles. There were several unique rigs on display, too many to photograph.
A good time was had by all!

Thanks Gary!
Glad you enjoyed the pictures. Getting ready to head out to our local "Steamboat Days" parade in a few minutes.
Going to try a new configuration this year. Got the 1948 Willys & her M416 wagon hooked-up to the M37.
Not really sure it's legal or how it will pull! :D (damn the torpedo's?) Guess we'll find out!

Tim,

Great pictures, I've always wanted to attend the VPW gathering but still haven't found the time.

If I left tomorrow, I could be there in time for next year!
