Tri State Military Vehicle show //// PICTURES ADDED

Post by T. Highway »

I read about this show in the Military Vehicles magazine and was wondering if anyone from here was going to attend it.

My wife and I will be down there on vacation and thought it would be a good idea to check it out.

I'll post up pictures of the event. I was contacted by Devan on the Steel Soldiers site, he is a Tri State Military Vehicle Club member. Since we will be moving to that area in the next few years, he said that he will introduce Cathy and I to the other club members.

We are really looking forward to this trip. We leave tonight at midnight. I hope that I can get the 2 meter and 70 cm repeater list programed into the radio for the trip. I will need someone to chat with, helps me to stay awake all night driving. My wife will sleep most of the way.

High and low bands but I'm not sure. I know 30.00 is in there but I don't have the radio in hand to check further.

Greg,

Gary's radio would only be legal on the 6 meter band and operating in simplex.

Here are some pictures from the show.
They had a nice turnout for the show. I talked with many of the Tri-state Club members. Some had driven an hour and a half to this event. This is a friendly group of people that invited my wife and I to join the club when we move to the area.
