need a hardtop windshield frame?

Post by NAM VET »

not long ago, was fueling my M 42, a guy walked over from the car wash next door. He used to have a hard top M 37, and told me he still had the windshield frame at his business. I finally got around to dropping by yesterday, he has it hanging in his parts storeroom; a front windshield for a hard top, no hinges, broken glass. This in Rock Hill, SC, just south of Charlotte. I don't need one, but if anyone wants info on it, he wanted a hundred for it, let me know and I can put you in touch with him. He told me it had been hanging there for 22 years.

The windshield for the hardtop should be the same as the soft top. There should be no difference between them.

Interesting, I just noted that this one did not have the hinges and other things a soft top windshield would be expected to have. I may go back and climb his ladder up to it and look at it again.

thanks, I learn something every day here.
