Longest trip to date

This Saturday I have a friend that lives 55 miles away and has a farm. We was talking bout setting some telephone poles for a deer stand next to his fields. I worked up a trade, labor for hunting privileges. I gave the truck a good once over, fluid levels, tire pressure, tools and headed out. The truck ran like a champ, no issues at all. Very proud of how it ran. This is the longest trip to date. Usually, I will run it 25 to 30 max, but I wanted to see just how good a truck I had put together.
When I got to the farm we started dragging poles for the stand. This was not flat land! Had to drag the poles through creeks and up some hills that made me a little nervous on the first run. The truck never spun a wheel!
The area we were working in was very tight. IT did not lend itself favorably to the M 37's turning radius. Doing 6 point turns in a Dodge M37 without power steering is not fun! We finished up the day, got the post set and the floor in. The thing is bigger than my first apartment.
The return trip was uneventful as well, no issues. I am very happy with my trucks performance. The only issues (and its more of a quirk of mine) was the transmission is weeping a little fluid as well as the transfer case. Everything else was completely dry.
So 110 miles round trip without incident. Yes, I did take the back roads and avoided highways. It just seems safer for me and everyone else on the road. These trucks are not known for their speed.
