Replacement shock absorbers?

Post by 06boblee »

Can anyone point me to a list of currently available replacement shocks? I found a list here for rear replacements, but a lot of them are not available anymore- no list for the front. I was told the 5 ton shocks were the same size?
I know VPW has some listed- who knows who made them,,
Thanks,

I have new Meritor AllFit shocks on my truck.
I would have to look at the shocks to get the numbers. They ARE different front and rear

Go to the parts store and look at Monroe-magnum #74025 or Gabriel #85302 or 85302. These shocks are fleet line Heavy Truck Shocks that look, act and have a good comparison to the NOS issue. I ended up using the Monroe 74025 on both front and rear.

I'm going to try a set of 5 ton shocks (readily available- and cheap). The shocks I got are made by Gabriel.

I run Gabriel's on mine and they do just fine.
