Thanks, I don't need much. Little bits and pieces mostly.

Well the hard part is done, got the metal patch on the cowl. I still need to trim the edge by the door hinge and clean that up but I have to get some help getting the door off, damn back surgery, can't do anything myself anymore. :( I have a few other patches to get to like the bottom of the drivers door which is another reason to take it off. Someone went crazy with bondo on that area. Once all the patches are done I will do the finish work on all the areas.

Does anyone know where I can find the screws that go in the door panels? I only had 4 in the drivers door and two had stripped heads and the passenger side has three. Don't know if they are any good or not.

I tried to vacuum bleed the brakes and I drew 15 inches of vacuum on both front wheel cylinders and no fluid?! Something is clogged solid!! I was hoping for a quick fix just for moving it around the yard for now.

What door screws are you talking about, the short stubby ones or one of the four that hold door panel in place?

The short stubby ones. The door bolts were surprisingly easy to get loose. I thought I was going to have a really hard time with them. I think someone may have put never seize on them in the past, I have not removed them yet to find out. Needed the garage for a few other projects before getting back on this.

The one's for the hinge pads or the ones that hold the glass channels/felt slides? Both are around, the hinge pins are the way to go, at least for me?

Rick,
I have a solid, but repaired bed floor I'd like to see move to New Jersey, you would have to come get it, it's not perfect, it has some issues, but none like yours.

On the vacuum deal. I just went through all this (Finishing day before yesterday) with the brakes on my new project truck. What I was told, and I found to be true, is that the rubber hoses fail over time by swelling closed. ALL the rubber lines on my machine were closed up. I could push pressure through the rear ones, but the brakes would stay locked up. The front wheel hoses were jammed solid. This is a truck that I think has been in a barn since maybe the early '70s?

I have tried the MityVac bleeding system in years past, and just could never get a satisfactory seal on the bleed nipple. So ever since then I have either had someone "press and hold" the brake pedal, or preferentially, used my Motive Power Bleeder. For my recent replacement of my brake hard and soft lines, with tubing and the rental flaring tool from FedHill (works like a charm for perfect double flares) and new bleed nipples/special brass crush washers all around, I hooked my Motive up to an NPT nipple in the master cylinder, and with a few tweaks of my connections, bled my entire lines, and have a rock hard pedal.

Yea, it was kind of wishful thinking. I was just trying to get something there but I can continue to use the hand brake considering I am only moving it around the yard and in and out of the garage. It is getting all new lines and cylinders as soon as I get the money together to order them up.
The trick to sealing the bleeder is to wrap a bit of Teflon tape on the threads only. That will seal any air from going around the bleeder threads. You don't need a whole lot of vacuum normally. Actually very little vacuum is best so you do not pull air past the cups.

Well, A fellow member posted in the classifieds "Free parts". I NEVER, Ever, get in on these deals but I called him and he asked if I was serious and could I come tomorrow? I said yes and yes and the deal was done. Thanks Jared. I haven't worked that hard in quite a while plus the damn truck locked up a front caliper on me in traffic on 95 on the way home but it was worth it.
Here is the haul, I am far to sore to unload it today. Probably pushed a bit too hard after back surgery a few months ago but free is free!

Does anybody recognize that seat bottom? It has a pivot bracket on the sides and is not the same shape or size as the m37 passenger seat. If someone recognizes it or needs it let me know. I will get better pictures as I unload stuff.

Rick,
That is quite a haul, did you land a bed floor, I didn't see one, I noticed the frame itself is really clean, looks like it was gone over?

Nope no bed stuff at all. The rear half of the frame has been completely done, the front half is original and is in real good shape. I have not really looked it over all that good since yesterday was all about getting it loaded and strapped down. Then I had the issues with my truck on the way home so it was a 14 hour day. I was and still am beat! I just moved some of the stuff that should stay dry into the garage and the rest will be addressed as I feel better. I need to get the front end off of the truck and rebuild the whole brake system. I also have all new stainless lines for it. Still need to get new rubber lines. And I also need to replace the hydroboost unit since I think that may have been my problem. No matter, I am happy with what I got.
