Bed Assembly Question

Post by m-37Bruce »

I have started the re-assembly of the bed, my question is; does the bed itself lay on the frame first, the the rear cab panel, or is it the other way, front panel first?
I'll add a few pics tomorrow.
Thanks In Advance,
Bruce,

The bed floor goes on above the front panel, if that is what you are asking.

OK, I spent the afternoon pushing and pulling using drift pins and small screw drivers and lining up holes and nuts! Then I remembered the bed pads, I already had them out, just forgot to install em'? There were two thick ones, four shallow ones and four or six simple pads w/ holes. My question is do the fat ones go on the rear or front of the bed?
My pic/file is to large, so I'll ad a link in a bit.

The fat pad to front. My truck had a double thick pad with hole under toolbox to match the thick pad with out hole

Adding another question to this thread. Does someone repop the doughnuts that the bed sits on. The round ones that go between the frame and the bed supports?

Thanks
