Wow I don't think I could do that myself or afford to have someone do it, I would really just like to get a better modern tranny in my M37, I have no idea what would be able to fit with some adaptors. I put power steering and disks up front already. My knees aren't great and I would like to ditch the double clutching, something synched. Any suggestions?

I think if you are still using the stock engine and transfer case, You are stuck with what you got. contact http://mseriesrebuild.com/ and ask them if there is something available. the specialize in these things.
