Hey Cal_Gary, Where do you get a "PAINLESS PEREFORMANCE harness ? I have a 12 volt system too, and presently am using commercial #THHN 12 gauge stranded wire to make my own miserable harness; which works, but scares everyone i show it too, including myself !

Something scares me about opening a gas tank drain. First, because the plug is always tight and I imagine creating a spark if i pull too hard on the wrench. And I also fear with too much torque I will bugger up the threads too...

Well I took a 4 speed tranny out of a 19 and 49 Dodge Power wagon, with a power take off for a bed mounted winch. If you can use it , it's $75 for the two items plus some in cab operating haNDLES FOR THER POWER TAKE OFF i SAVED...

I have indeed found mistakes in that particular maunual. An example is where reference is made to the carberator idle speed adjustment screw. Perhaps this is the post to which I may humbly inquire: What does NDT , and the other military tire ( four letters ) I always see advertised stand for? What about those tires I see pictured in the WW2 photos that look like they belong on a farming tractor ? Are they still availble?

Always wanted a full tracked vehicle. Damn track prices are just too high for a MV'er like me, who has to run his vehicle everywhere and frequently. As for the german tracks, like the OT8, well, the tracks last but the pavement won't !

Hello oldmopar, And I have a 19 and 52 M37 with 4:89 gears, and I love it . I zip around town on the pavement but still have pulling power in the field with my Bull gear , and , of course, the low range option...Welcome field travellor
