Re: Anyone making new rear axle shafts now?

Yea, same here, pricey, and yep, more than triple what I paid for my truck. I'm running a stock'ish '68 318, so I'm now where near 400 HP and kept twisting the axles under hard load.

Re: Anyone making new rear axle shafts now?

The Foote's are junk, I have broken 4 total, 2 long and 2 short on my M37. I just received the new improved two piece axles from VPW. I'm told that so for no one has broken them. I'm sure I will give them a good test. https://scontent-dfw5-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/65809053_2827277297344268_8259462533...

Re: My 1954 M37

Mike, Congratulations on the decisions, selections and purchase of a nice M37. As you have discovered parts on these things got swapped out a lot, and the later glove box door isn't un-common. Just be sure then Title matches the frame number, and you might want to get a new data plate and have it ma...

Re: MILITARY COLLECTOR"S TV, season II

Charles, just watched the episode. It was great and loved seeing the shop and some of the projects. Would love to seen more of it. The portion of the show that gave some history on the M37 was great.

He was in North West Arkansas, and mostly did Dirt Track Wheels, but had several others and custom as well. He had never made a "Budd" Patter wheel before, but I know after mine others bought from him and were happy. Yea I have the bolt pattern and back spacing info I sent him.

Re: M37 Bikini top

They were custom built for me to my specifications. But unfortunately MRW went out of business when the owner died almost 2 years ago and no one took it over.

Re: Rear differential hub removal

On the flat tip counter sunk screws, my best luck was with a small punch on the outer edge at the slot and a hammer, poor mans impact driver when the slot is shot.
