Re: 2018 Veteran Parade, Quincy Illinois.

Hey Bert & Crew. Good Morning to you as well. We are also hoping for no break-downs. Supposed to be a cold one here this weekend. Sadly the Couple coming the farthest will be in a M-37 with no heater. I'm worried about them. Hope everyone has a good parade and an Honorable Veteran Day. United St...

Good Morning Crew.
Next Saturday is the Veteran Parade in downtown Quincy Illinois,

Re: Hot Summer Project!

That sounds like a good time!
Over in Fairfield Iowa, the home of Vintage Power Wagon,
they have a teeter totter contest for Powerwagons & M37. Never tried it but like to someday.

Re: Hot Summer Project!

I think I'll stick to the "photoshop" dozer for now. Might be a trick loading without a "Guardian Angel" watching over that operation. Back working on the old boat today but the trailer lights arrived a little while ago! Get-er wired and some lights then a deck is in order. KILR...

Re: Hot Summer Project!

Hey Gary & Crew. Gary, for some reason they shipped your trophy to me. I've repacked it you should receive it soon. Garys Trophy.jpg rickf was asking what I was going to haul on the trailer? My Buddy thinks I need a dozer! I fully agree. :D You know, for my Lori, not me. Clark CA-1 Airbo...

Re: Hot Summer Project!

Hello "rickf" & Crew. I guess about anything that will fit, but mostly my New Holland compact tractor. Possibly a Taylor Dunn utility cart, and with side boards haul firewood. Also with a set of side boards Veterans on benches or wheelchairs in parades. Multi purpose trailer. :D Taylor...

Re: Hot Summer Project!

Hey Bert, Gary & Crew. Thank you for the kind words. Afraid things might slow a bit while waiting on the sandblasting & paint. We will see. On another note, starting to organize our annual trip to Quincy Illinois. Got a real nice letter from the Folks involved in their parade. Last year they...

Re: Hot Summer Project!

Hey Bert & Crew! I spent a lot of time up in Beaver Dam, one of my favorites DC's to land for the evening. Really nice folks and always got a lot of miles and loads up there. Just about finished with the fabrication part of the project. Couple of little details left and then on to paint, floor &...

Hot Summer Project!

Hello Crew! How is everyone holding up? Seems some of you must be under water and some on fire. Been hot and humid here in the Midwest but that's better than shoveling snow! Been working on several projects this summer, but moving awfully slow. :( Trying to finish a trailer I started a long time ago...

Armed Forces Day Event

Good Morning Crew. Had our annual Armed Forces Day display in Wapello Iowa last Saturday. Although we didn't have as many trucks this year everyone had fun. Lori's M-37 stood proud and the replica CUCV was given permission to stand with the rest of the "troops". The ole Chevy will still ha...

Re: Another Brand New Old Truck

Good Morning Gary & Crew. I think, but am not positive they quite using Plymouth staff cars in the early 40's. 42 maybe? Outs is a 48, which by the way my first car was a 48 Plymouth. It still would make a nice one. Right now I'm not able to take on another painting project so that will be anoth...
