Re: Truck Cover Options?
Morgan, I was told a Dodge Ramcharger cover will fit. How's the truck going? Andy[/quo Good to know, thanks! The gears are swapped, hasn't been run in yet. Oh my friend has it and was working on the mechanical stuff, the Snake River power steering, elec ignition, elec back...

Truck Cover Options?

I am going to keep my M43 at a location that requires a cover for any vehicles. Does anyone know offhand what modern truck cover fits an M37 pretty well? There are many pickups out there, even with an extended cab so I think there could be enough cab room, just curious if anyone knew a good match fo...

M37 shirts can be made again with increased demand, SF Bay

il_300x300.354047036_5yzf.jpg This guy used to make M37 shirts similar to this other Power Wagon, he said he would consider doing a re release if there was more demand. If you would like one you should give him a shout on his Etsy page here by clicking ask a question near the price: https://www.ets...

I don't have one, I have an M42 technically, but I would be really nervous about using that!

Re: I would like links to historical M37 pictures please

SMontalbano08.jpg I have recently found a few more pics of M37s in Korea rooting around in a Korean War personal picture archive that the Korean War Veterans Digital Memorial has: http://www.kwvdm.org/collection.php?p=artifact&category=1&cp=01 All their pictures I could see containing an M3...

Re: Rims - Again

The last option I was tempted by was the STA / Super Lug 8 Ply 900-16. It stands just over 36 inches and looks like it would be better in the wet. It will fit the 6.5 inch stock rims. Well… back to focusing on getting the truck done.
Andy, known as ashyers has Super Lugs and they seemed nice...

Re: Pay it Forward....

Well I did get my gears, the guy who said he would do them for me a few months ago hasn't responded recently but I haven't been able to finish everything else so I guess it's no rush. I got a Snake River power steering kit too. In the Bay Area, Pete's Gear Shop in Hayward can do this kind of work, h...

Re: BRAKE MASTER SWAP

I have been considering getting some disks up front, I saw the 1980 Chevy Master cyl. swap directions at Ugly Truckling. But what I want to know is, if I keep four wheel drums for now, would the MC swap help the braking or would it just be a safety improvement being a dual MC? I'm swapping my gears...

Re: M-37 / R-2 Rescue

The timing of your question is a good one. I have pulled my rear differential and was thinking about changing to a 4.89 as I read it would help with the top end. Well it does but then it causes a chain reaction with all your other components. Since you are going faster your brakes need to be top no...

Re: Well my M37 is here!

Is your friend going to break the bed down into components and then clean and paint, or do it as a unit? Bert I think he is keeping it together, he inspected everything. It wasn't in bad shape and had body work done before but it wasn't finished. The bottom rear corners of the cab had been repaired...
