Re: Differential removal
Dutch, Yep as others have said easy, just darn heavy laying under a truck. I've found with a normal Jack or even my trans adapter the differential is still hard to keep from rolling off or aligned. I've had mine out way too many times, and finally built a dedicated jig to use on my floor jack. http:...

Re: New Owner and I Already Broke It!
First I'd guess fuel, the filter likely plugged?
Second I'd guess electrical, likely the old wire gave out?

Re: Disc brakes on the front first?
I found a fellow MVO that is willing to install discs on my m43b1. Going to get the ugly truckling kit. Is it possible to just do the front axle first and then when funds allow. Do the rear? YEP. Assuming you are also installing the proper dual circuit Master Cylinder. With the residual pressure va...

I don't recall a difference when I swapped the M's 230 into my civilian PW and connecting the 6V starter.Elwood wrote:The 12v or 6v starter is different, and you'll likely have to change the flywheel or the flywheel ring gear, too.

Re: Brush Buggy Build
So I am not sure where $3000 came from unless you are talking about ARBs. I will say I would swap axles in it before I paid to put disk brakes on it! I probably should have followed my original plan to swap axles in rather than doing Disc Brakes, custom Bead Locks and then adding ARB's. But then ag...

Is the AMSOIL Synthetic Powershift Transmission Fluid SAE 50 a Non-EP oil? IE is it designed for use in transmissions with transmissions with brass/bronze?
